Recording noob

Um.. I'm new to video/audio editing.. and when I say new I mean I've never tried it at all before... ever.

But for me to try to get started what programs to do guys suggest I get to record/run things?

Well if it's just for your own fun, try audacity or FL studio. Both good for beginners and more advanced users.

well if your using a pc, the above are the best i find...i work very well with them, i also use DubTurbo.

for mac the best(usability) are garage band and final cut X...for Final Cut X you can either use a trial or pm me for a copy.

Be sure to also use microphones and make your track as clean as possible.
