Don't ask questions. Just trust me.
Does all your screenplay and storyboarding stuff. You can also list all your resources you're going to need for your screenplay: actors, music, sets, whatever. I particularly find useful the index card features if you add a novel to your project. They're really nice for mapping out the bare-bone structure of a plot.

My personal crutch. Create notes and lists that you can access from any computer, or choose to work remotely on your desktop without getting connected. You can have notebooks to organize your notes, and the software also as mobile apps and some plug-ins. Nifty!
http://journler.com/
Mac only. Similar to Evernote, but more of a comfy-cozy personal journal environment. Good free alternative to MacJournal, complete with a fullscreen mode for distraction-free work!

Character Writer has a free trial which I recommend you give a try. It fills a really specialized niche in the software universe that, even with restricted functions, helps you flesh out your story's characters and track their progress through helpful prompts that really allow you to see your plot in new ways.
